New Mexico Trials Association Meet

Lake Fork Canyon

September 5, 2004

Trials is a  sport where the riders follow a route through marked sections of obstacles while attempting to take as few dabs (foot touches) as possible.  There are several categories with increasing degrees of difficulty.  These sections test every riding skill you can imagine.   Here are a few of the shots from the event.

Trevor  Clancey

When the rock started  getting too slick,
he just leaped over this dicey spot.

Trevor also rides mountain bike trials.
You might run into him around UNM.

 Dale Higginbotham -  warming up

What goes up ...                            must come down.

How steep do you like it?  Trevor makes it look easy.

Dale is an impressive rider on his mountain bike as well.

Autumn Slayton doing well, as always
Which rock?

This is a great place for mountain bikes, too and you don't have to drive all the way to Moab for cool rocks.

If you would like to see more of the photos from this event, let me know and I'll post them.
