Golden Open Space

The Golden Open Space is located north of the village of La Madera between Placitas and Golden New Mexico.
It covers about 1200 acres and has ~ 12 miles of well maintained trails. 

I have been working with the East Mountain Regional Trail Council (EMRTC) scouting a new trail that will meander around the canyons.
This will add another 5 miles to the current system. These photos are from the scouting trips.
Our proposal has been accepted. The scouting has been completed and work is in progress.
This will make an incredible addition to this awesome area.
