Cedro Peak/Otero Canyon

These areas begin about 7 miles east of Albuquerque and goes about 8 miles to the south. 
Most of the trees are pinon/juniper, but there are areas that have ponderosa pine.
There are many miles of trails in this area. I ride there frequently in the spring and fall.
Most of my trips there are 20 to 35 miles.

The mountain you see in the distance is the Sandia Mountain. The high point is South Peak viewed from the southeast.
